Breakfast is taken in the morning room with its large round table in the bay window looking out across the south lawn. In this room you also have a huge comfy sofa to curl up in and a wide screen TV with all the Sky channels as well as an ipod dock and DVD player with access to our  extensive library of DVDs. This room is available to you in the evening as well as at breakfast time. There is even Sky Plus so you can record the big match during the afternoon and watch it in the evening.

A typical breakfast menu in summer

Orange juice
Fresh fruit salad or seasonal fruit from the garden with yoghurt
Eggs (local and free range) scrambled, fried, poached or boiled
Traditionally cured West Country bacon
Jamie Wickens’ pork and herb sausages
Oven roasted home grown tomatoes
Mushrooms

A choice of organic brown or white bread from the Lighthouse Bakery with
homemade marmalade and jams.

Pastries from the Lighthouse Bakery in Northiam (not Sunday or Monday)

Cereals always available.
Filter coffee from the Monmouth Coffee Company or breakfast tea.

In the summer we like to offer you breakfast in the garden. There is a table and

chairs on the south terrace. You are also welcome to use this space in the evening.

To allow you to escape in the evenings we offer children’s teas at 6pm and a

babysitting service.
